“Most of us have heard the saying, “That’s the best thing since sliced bread!” What do you think is actually the best thing since sliced bread?” -The Daily Post
The best thing since sliced bread is actually… colored bagels!

Last year, I used to always bring a bagel with me to school to have for lunch. While I loved to have the typical cinnamon raisin or even plain bagel, my favorites were always the unique ones. My mom would randomly bring home bagels colored red/green, blue/white, yellow with a swirl, and even solid purple. As far as tastes go, they all tasted pretty good! I’m not so sure that they had a distinct flavor.. I actually think they were just plain bagels with food coloring added in, but they tasted wonderfully nonetheless. Well, the solid purple ones (my favorite) most certainly had a special flavor, actually. They were blueberry bagels and they are by far the easiest to find out of the whole bunch.

Josh here from the BlinkPack blog. I adore bagels — just tried Marx Hot Bagels in Cincinnati, and it was phenomenal. I wish you all the best with your blogging. Cheers!
HI There. I own a bagel company in Shanghai and would love to put a swirl in our bagels any hint on how to do this?
I’ve only ever eaten them. Never tried making colored bagels before. I’d imagine it’s as simple as coloring the dough and then baking them but maybe there is more to it? Sorry, I really have no idea!
