Can You Believe We Are Halfway Through 2025?
Happy 4th of July to all my fellow American readers. šŗšø

Outside of the traditional significance of the holiday, JulyāÆ4, 2025, also marks the halfway point in the year. With 365 days total, day 183 lands on July 2 in non-leap years, so JulyāÆ3 or 4 is right in that midāyear zone!
Where has all the time gone?
On that note, Iād like to address just that! From the emails Iāve received, I know some of you noticed I havenāt been posting as much recently. I never planned to be away this long. Every month that passed in 2025, I kept telling myself Iād sit down to post somethingāeven just a quick update. But life has a way of sweeping you into its current, and suddenly you look up and realize itās been half a year! šµāš«
So here we are.
A Life Update After 6 Months Away
The truth is, the past six months have brought a lot of changeāpersonally, professionally, and creatively. Iāve been riding the wave, doing my best to stay afloat while trying to navigate it all in a way that feels true to who I am and where I want to go. And honestly? Thatās been harder than I expected.
In 2025, Iāve experienced so many new beginnings:
- Starting a brand new fully remote job
- Moving into a new apartment & furnishing it
- Building my own YouTube/podcast home studio
- Putting myself back on the dating market after a long time away
- Rebranding and restructuring my other Mindset for Success business
- Adapting to a world with increasing prevalence of artificial intelligence
The Internet Is ChangingāFast
The internet isnāt what it used to be. Bloggingāonce the go-to space for long-form storytelling and self-expressionāhas evolved along with how people consume content. Today, readers have more options than ever, with AI tools and short-form videos reshaping how we share and discover stories online.
Is blogging dead? In my opinion, no.
Is blogging different? Absolutely. No one can deny that.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools like ChatGPT and Gemini have changed how people seek out information; everything is instant, bite-sized, and hyper-optimized. Meanwhile, platforms like TikTok and Instagram continue to dominate the attention economy with fast, flashy, short-form content.

Itās made me pause and ask myself: Where do I fit into all of this with my travel blog? As someone who thrives on storytelling and deep reflection, how do I adapt to this new digital landscape without losing the essence of what I love? Will people still take the time to read my posts?
I donāt have all the answers yet. But Iām exploring.
If youāre here reading this right now, please leave a comment! š (Even if youāve never done so before!)
New Chapters, New Beginnings
Moving & New Remote Job
In March, I moved to a new place. That alone was a big shiftānew space, new energy, new routines. Not long after, I started a new job, which has been both exciting and demanding in all the right ways. Balancing that with everything else life has thrown my way hasnāt been easy, but itās reminded me of my resilience and how much Iām capable of when I fully commit.

Single & Ready to Mingle
Somewhere along the way, I also began putting myself back out there and dating again. Itās been an exciting and eye-opening experience, helping me better understand what I want and how I want to show up in a relationship. Itās a process, but one thatās felt meaningful and full of possibility. š
Building Something of My Own
One of the most personal and challenging undertakings this past year has been launching my own business. Taking the whole concept to market is still very much a work in progress, and I wonāt pretend itās been easy. Itās called Mindset for Success. Itās a platform Iām building to help people achieve greater success in working toward their goals by tapping more deeply into the subconscious mind. š

But building something from the ground upāsomething that reflects my vision and valuesāhas been deeply meaningful. Itās teaching me patience, grit, and the importance of showing up even when no oneās watching.
If you know of any groups looking for a speaker, Iād greatly appreciate any referrals!
Building Something of My Own
In addition to moving in March, Iāve had to find time to furnish my new place. Iāve also carved out a section of my unit to use as a YouTube/podcasting studio. Itās still āunder constructionā but itās nearing its final stages. Iām excited to put it to use once it is all ready.

Iāve been told I should dabble in the video space for a while now, but I always wanted to stick exclusively to blogging. Iām open to exploring different mediums for content creation so I suppose Iāll test this out and see how that goes.
Whatās Next?
Honestly? Iām still figuring it out. But I do know that I miss writing here. I miss the kind of slow, thoughtful reflection that blogs make space forāsomething deeper than a caption, more lasting than a story that vanishes in 24 hours.
So consider this a soft return. A quiet āhey, Iām still here.ā
Life looks a little different now, but the urge to create, connect, and express hasnāt gone anywhere. If anything, it feels more important now than ever.
Thanks for sticking aroundāeven through the silence. Iām excited to see whatās next.
The journey continues! šŗļø
