SAFARI MEANS JOURNEY IN THE SWAHILI LANGUAGE.
My name is Rocky Trifari and I have been blogging for seven years and counting. The Rocky Safari is where I share stories about my journey across the world and through life. It includes stories about the most strange and shocking situations I have found myself facing while navigating through this peculiar world of ours. As a long-term traveler, I have explored foreign countries for months at a time and have experienced more misadventures in the process than I'd want to admit. Besides being passionate about long-term travel, I'm also a total bird nerd and self-improvement fanatic.
In 2018, I decided to pack a backpack and set off on a long-term trip with a one-way ticket to Greece where I began my solo backpacking adventure. Since then, I've wandered many places. Aside from travel, I also write about gay dating, relationships abroad, surviving as an introvert, as well as various lifestyle tips to help create a free and fulfilling life. My goal is to eventually visit every country on Earth and The Rocky Safari chronicles that journey.
