I scheduled 2 of their 7 days in Madrid!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s how to tour Madrid in 2 days!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MADRID TRAVEL GUIDE: DAY 1<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MADRID-BARAJAS AIRPORT<br><\/strong>(AEROPUERTO ADOLFO SU\u00c1REZ-MADRID BARAJAS)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>My family flew direct from the USA to Adolfo Su\u00e1rez Madrid-Barajas Airport. I lived in a studio on one of the most famous streets in Spain: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.therockysafari.com\/2023\/05\/28\/living-on-calle-de-fuencarral-street\/\">Fuencarral Street<\/a><\/strong>. The outside architecture is so majestic while the inside will leave you astounded by how regal its design is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can easily spend a few hours here if you go inside and do the guided tour. Since then, the construction has finished and the station reopened. through <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.therockysafari.com\/2017\/01\/15\/madrid-photos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">El Retiro<\/a><\/strong> which is one of the biggest parks in My family saw <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">a lot<\/span> in one day and they arrived in Spain that same morning. There&#8217;s not necessarily much to do here, but this is a pretty area to walk around and it connects you to a lot of other places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember to look at the famous<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Statue_of_the_Bear_and_the_Strawberry_Tree\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Statue of the Bear and the Strawberry Tree<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>VISIT THE CHUECA NEIGHBORHOOD!<br><\/strong><em>(CHUECA)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Chueca is a lovely part of Madrid\u2019s capital. They booked a room at the RIU which had just opened at the time! (It literally just opened.
