One female can lay 5 to 12 eggs per clutch which then hatch 24 days later. A breeding pair of Quaker parakeets can produce up to six clutches per year. Young quaker parrots learn from their parents how to participate in the colony and expand on the same nesting area they were born in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To date, there is no definitive proof these birds pose a significant threat to agriculture or to native birds. I was so surprised to see a quaker parrot in the capital of Spain. it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As seen in the video below, he had a bit of a tough time securing any bread because the pigeons and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.therockysafari.com\/2023\/08\/14\/the-house-sparrows-from-madrid-spain\/\">sparrows<\/a><\/strong> really did <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">not<\/span> want to share with the green-colored newcomer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls poster=\"https:\/\/www.therockysafari.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/quaker-parrot-wants-bread-cover.jpg\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once he got some, he flew up to his tree branch and proceeded to show off as <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dkfindout.com\/us\/animals-and-nature\/birds\/parrots\/\">he ate the food using his legs as hands<\/a><\/strong> (a skill only parrots are capable of thanks to their <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shortpedia.com\/en-in\/did-you-know\/did-you-know-facts\/parrots-are-the-only-birds-who-can-eat-with-their-feet-1631508775\">zygodactyl feet<\/a><\/strong>!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div
