The SUMMIT is Manhattan&#8217;s fifth and newest observation deck overlooking the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, this year in March 2023, the <strong>Centurion Club in New York City<\/strong> opened its doors giving special priority access to American Express cardholders.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" three friends whom I have met through a travel club known as the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/travelerschilllounge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Traveler&#8217;s Chill Lounge<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" CENTURION<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>While the lounge space is named after the famous <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2023\/05\/14\/realestate\/american-express-centurion-lounge-nyc.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">invite-only Centurion black card<\/a><\/strong> from American Express, <strong>the Centurion lounge is actually open to everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<div href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/ny\/centurion-ny?date=2023-08-05&amp;seats=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">access the Centurion New York with an advance reservation via Resy<\/a><\/strong> (American Express owns Resy). Those who hold a Centurion Card receive priority access and expanded availability with reservations. Amex Platinum cardholders can use the concierge services to book appointments too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few weeks back, we scheduled a 1:00 reservation to have lunch together there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHY VISIT THE CENTURION NEW YORK LOUNGE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Amex has opened pop-up lounges for card members in the past. One reviewer called the place &#8220;soulless,&#8221; but is it true?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ll share a review of my experience by taking a deeper look into what the Centurion New York had to It&#8217;s perfect for snacks, small bites, coffee, or tea.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Studio<\/strong> is the main bar with signature and handcrafted cocktails. a three-course tasting menu and a five-course tasting menu for dinner.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since we were ordering off the general menu for lunchtime, our meal wasn&#8217;t quite so expensive Kids under the age of 17 are not permitted inside after 5:00 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"WHAT_PAYMENT_METHOD_OPTIONS_ARE_AVAILABLE_AT_THE_CENTURION\"><\/span><strong>WHAT PAYMENT METHOD OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE CENTURION?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Payments must be made using an <strong>American Express card <\/strong>or<strong> cash.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other credit cards are not accepted. However, when it was time for our reservation, we were one of the only tables there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CANCELLATIONS<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Centurion New York asks you to please <strong>cancel at least 48 hours ahead of your reservation<\/strong> if necessary. Under 24 hours prior to your reservation, <strong>a $100 cancellation fee will apply per person.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CONCLUDING THOUGHTS<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall, I felt like the Centurion layout was thoughtfully designed to take advantage of its stunning skyline views. The food was delicious and matched my expectations ranging across taste, price, and portion size for a New City City establishment of this caliber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My visit was pleasant. In a city full of choices, I&#8217;m not entirely sure when I will return again. However, I think it&#8217;s worth experiencing at least once if you are a cardholder with an interest in going!
