Change: I meant to post this photo sooner but I couldn’t because I was too upset. The topic of change couldn’t have been any more perfect because it was a time of major change in my life. As of April 7th, I no longer hold my position within Key Club as my board has been removed from our positions and our successors have been installed. I’ve been changed back to a general member. I haven’t been a general member since freshman year of high school. In just a few months, my Key Club membership will fully expire and I will be going off to college. Weird… I don’t like this.
When I think of color, the first thing I think of is a week or two back when my sister and I were coloring our Easter Eggs and we made such a mess!! The stains were worth it though because the eggs came out really cool haha.
Behold, a day in my life: Yesterday. The day before Easter!
Future Tense: March 28th, 2013 5:00 PM.
The time when a select group of elite colleges from the northeast will post admission decisions online for their Class of 2017.
I’m so nervous and excited all at the same time! I have a countdown on the dry erase board in my room. (And on my phone and on my planner). FIVE DAYS, PEOPLE, FIVE DAYS. Please oh please, let me get accepted into at least one of my dream schools. Please.
In this photo taken with my iPhone 4S, you can see a typical Halloween at my Uncle’s nearby house. We literally have to herd people into lines on his driveway because he gives away free sweatshirts instead of candy and people go M.A.D. for them. They aren’t even plain sweatshirts- they have an ad for his business on them! It’s honestly the craziest thing!
For some reason, this is one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken. I couldn’t be more happy with the way it focused in on the flower and the way the purple plant pops from the green background. I don’t know, I’m just really really happy with it. 🙂
These Egyptian statues at the MET were all facing forward. I’m sooo clever.
My twelve year old sister made this snowman during the last snow storm a few weeks ago. I recently looked back at the photo and realized something about her snowman: he doesn’t quite have a mouth… Guess he’ll never know the feeling behind giving a kiss.
To me, home is my paradise. This is a photo I took of my mom preparing a nice little lunch for my family to enjoy in our backyard. I really admire the time, effort, and care that my mom puts into everything she does. In this case, I appreciated her little pineapple fruit treats so much that I felt like I had to go grab my camera and snap a picture of them. I’ll miss my mom’s meals so much when I move away from home.
While I was on vacation in Florida, I came across these flowers along the path going towards the pool. I kind of freaked out a little bit when I saw them. They almost look like they should be something in the ocean, don’t they!?
I know that this photograph is from over two years ago, but my parakeet, Cyber, will always be loved with all of my heart even though she passed away just a few months after I took this very photo. Cyber and I did everything together. She was so small and sweet. She would sit on my shoulders and nibble on my pencil as I did hours and hours of math homework. If I clapped my hands, no matter where she was, she’d fly until she found me and then happily land on top of my head. I miss her so much.
