Chamomile Tea Can Help Calm Your Anxiety

Last Updated on May 29, 2021

Are you a fan of chamomile herbal tea? I wasn’t sure whether or not I was until I tasted a sample of true chamomile herbal tea ordered from Adagio, my favorite online tea retailer. Chamomile tea is vastly different from everything I normally drink but I loved it so much that now I feel compelled to share it with all of you.

Adagio’s chamomile herbal infusion is made from the finest chamomile flowers grown around the Nile River Valley in Egypt. The ancient Egyptians used chamomile as a remedy for many ailments. In fact, this bright yellow herb remains a popular selection for calming and relieving anxiety. As a naturally highly anxious person, I can very much attest to its natural calming powers.

During the steeping process, the soft fragrance of chamomile blossoms fills the air. Chamomile mimics the scent of freshly cut apples, producing a totally rich, golden-colored cup of tea with a nice sweet, floral finish. In fact, the word “chamomile” comes from the Greek word meaning “ground apple.” The Romans historically enjoyed chamomile both as a drink and as an incense!

Unlike traditional chamomile teas, this tea is made with the whole flower producing a delicious infusion. The difference is drastic when you compare the flavor and aroma of full chamomile blossoms to what you may find in traditional tea bags.

Camomile is naturally caffeine free. For the best results, the flowers should steep for 5 to 10 minutes in hot water. Although I enjoy it plain, honey compliments the flavor nicely.

This post reflects my honest thoughts and opinions about a product I have tried firsthand. If you do decide to try the tea, I would appreciate if you would bookmark this page, purchase it via my referral link, and come back to chime in and let us all know what you thought of it! 🙂

Do it, you won’t be disappointed! Don’t be surprised if you see a few other tea posts in the coming days/weeks- I ordered so many different samples hahaha. There is actually a section on their website for Adagio-addicts to “ban themselves” from the website. I’m thinking I might have to self-impose a ban on myself soon. Hahaha.
