Since October or November, this peculiar New Jersey weather has had me mildly concerned. Over the past few years, we have had snow storms as early as mid-October. This winter, there has been nothing. We barely even had a flurry… until today. It’s finally snowing.
The other day I was trying to figure out why this Winter Break felt so strange. Could it be from the constant-stress of planning how I was going to come out to each of my family members? What was making it feel so different? I eventually realized it must have something to do with the lack of snow.
I was disappointed when we didn’t have a white Christmas. Never in a million years did I think I’d return back to college before ever seeing a single snowflake fall. With only two days of break left, that was almost the case. Except, it is finally snowing. I was actually starting to really worry about the environment. Where has the snow been all this time?
Greetings, snow. Welcome back.
Bring on the Real weather, you have your love to keep you warm.
Love that logic!!! You’re so right! 😉 :3
You are lucky. since Sunday, weather in the Chicago area has had subzero wind chills. And I had work on Sunday and Monday. Fortunately, it’ll be warmer (or should I say less cold?) on Thursday. This is the third year in a row with extremely cold wind chills in the Chicago area.
Bizarre! We should have had snow by now yet we’ve barely gotten anything. Even yesterday turned out to only be a flurry. It didn’t even accumulate on the ground.
