For more than a decade, I have been documenting my misadventures on The Rocky Safari while exploring destinations all around the world. I may be an introvert at heart, but I love stepping outside of my comfort zone. Thanks to numerous solo travel adventures, I've learned to embrace long-term travel as a lifestyle. Now my primary goal is to help you explore unusual places, travel longer, and design a remote lifestyle.
Awww. Hey, I was there. You see that “pointy mountain” top center of the photo? I live at the base of that. That is where I do my mountain biking and trail riding. 🙂 Thank you for sharing Rocky.
Oh wow!!! How cool is that! Funny how it’s probably second-nature for you to see the mountains from day-to-day. I was absolutely amazed at how clear you could still see them from so far away!

I think it’s very cool. I also find it amazing, in looking at something like this and just thinking for a split second at what a “small world” it can be. Wow. I don’t know. It’s the little things like that that make me think and appreciate.
I agree. Our world is an incredible place. (Which is why I find myself so saddened by the things that take place on it.) As much as I’m looking forward to my China trip, I’m unsure of how I’ll respond both physically and emotionally to the pollution there.
