“What person whom you don’t know very well in real life — it could be a blogger whose writing you enjoy, a friend you just recently made, etc. — would you like to have over for a long chat in which they tell you their life story?” –The Daily Post
Sometimes I wish my professors had the time to get to know me better. As much as I enjoy going to such a large university, it’s a little frustrating that I’m nothing but a 9 digit number to so many of my professors.
Last semester, chemistry recitations were exclusively held online. I didn’t get to meet my instructor until the day of the final exam. Even then, after attending her recitation every Monday all semester long, she didn’t have the slightest clue as to who I was.
If given the chance, I’d really like to get to know my professors better. Fortunately, I do feel very close to some and I’ve already shared my life story with many of them.
Well, um, you! I find you very intriguing. I can’t quite put my finger on it but I sincerely feel that I could sit and talk with you for hours and never know all that I would want to know about you. I’m curious that way. I like the way your mind works. To me, there is so much more to you behind that adorable handsome face. 🙂 It’s like there’s the whole rest of that “iceberg” beneath the waters surface that would be fascinating to know.
It sounds like you have a fascinating mind as well! Just the fact that you take such an interest in so many of the topics I’ve discussed here makes me think you’d probably be a great person to talk to! I’d be curious to hear more about what you have to say. Thank you so much for the kind words, Craig. ^.^
Oh god, I get that feeling A LOT.
