“How are you at receiving criticism? Do you prefer that others treat you with kid gloves, or go for brutal honesty?” -The Daily Post
I’m fine with receiving criticism as long as it is laid on gently and respectfully. Likewise, I prefer constructive criticism over criticism that is not. I’ve had people tell me things that were brutally honest and while I had no problem moving forward with what was said, I would have much preferred if the truth was presented in a nicer, more thoughtful way.
As i said to a previous poster, there’s no harm in being honest as long as it is delivered with tact and thoughtfulness 😉
I concur. Always a good thing to be polite and courteous.
Being honest is sometimes easier than said. Usually it is up to the individual and how he or she takes it. I rather people be honest with me then making up lies or being fake. Delivering the actual though is probably the hardest part because just the tone of your voice could mean a lot of things. great post
Thank you! 🙂
