Daily Prompt: Linger

“Tell us about times in which you linger — when you don’t want an event, or a day to end. What is it you love about these times? Why do you wish you could linger forever?” –The Daily Post

My graduation cap. It’s the Rutgers Block-R!

I often linger at my graduation ceremonies because I see them as such significant points in my life. I find that I easily form such strong emotional connections between the places I visit and the people I meet. Graduation is a one-time chance to recognize what I’ve accomplished and welcome the next phase of my life.

It’s so easy to linger because there’s always something to say to everyone whether it’s a “congratulations” or a “thank you!”
