“Do you thrive under pressure or crumble at the thought of it? Does your best stuff surface as the deadline approaches or do you need to iterate, day after day to achieve something you’re proud of? Tell us how you work best.” -The Daily Post
It’s funny – Normally, I like to plan things out long in advance. I prefer to follow an agenda and set deadlines for various things on a daily basis. Oddly enough, I still find myself in frequent situations where there are merely seconds left before a deadline arrives and there’s something about that last-minute pressure to finish that makes me incredibly more productive.
I guess in the end, I’m fine both ways but I prefer to plan ahead.
Now to get back to lining up my courses for the next few years of college.
I prefer break the bulk into small easy steps. No no no to pressure… even though it can help you discover something new about yourself.
You bring up an interesting point. We do learn a lot about ourselves while under great stress.
I’ve also experienced that pressure. The way you thrive is incredible.
Oh, thanks! Haha
Can’t deal with pressure as a result am a reverse procrastinator. I get things done way early and that backfires too, when the plan changes or gets cancelled altogether. I wish i was more adventerous, but this way no late fines etc.
Interesting! I think you’re in a more ideal position! It’s better to do things early and find out it was a waste of time than to wait until the last minute and fail to complete things by the deadline. That only leads to more stress, disappointment, and trouble.
