Daily Prompt: Isn’t Your Face Red

“When was the last time you were embarrassed? How do you react to embarrassment?” –The Daily Post

I turn red whenever a group of people looks at me. Even if I’m not embarrassed, and in most cases I’m not, my face still turns red. In high school, especially freshman year, it happened to me quite often. I think it had to do with some form of mild anxiety.

One person even tried convincing me I had some condition called idiopathic craniofacial erythema. Part of me still wonders if I really do have it. My blushing comes out of nowhere – even mid-conversation – and I can’t control it. But more often than not, it’s when I have to do some form of public speaking. Luckily, it happens less often now. So yeah, I’m not sure what’s going on. Haha.
