While doing some grocery shopping at my local supermarket, a strange vegetable caught my eye. Brussels Sprouts.

My mom makes these green vegetables for dinner a lot (and they’re quite good!) but never have I seen her buy them still-on-the-stalk before! This was my first time seeing them in their natural form.

I thought it looked kind of scary so I decided to take a picture with one, write a haiku, and call it a day.
My Haiku:
Buying Brussels Sprouts.
Oh, how scary you do grow!
No more sprouts for me.
That photo does look like it has been taken on an alien planet. On stalk, off stalk, always evil.
Hahaha so true! 🙂 “on stalk, off stalk, always evil” lololol
This is amazing! One for a good laugh.
Haha thanks, Brian! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🙂 lol how funny – the first thing I read on your blog was a haiku and now you can say the same for me! 🙂
It’s meant to be!
