Daily Prompt: Brainwave

“What’s the best idea you’ve ever had? Regale us with every detail of the idea — the idea itself, where it came to you, and the problem it solved.” -The Daily Post

I’m not so sure if this was the “best idea” I have ever had but it certainly is one I am still very proud of! In the third grade, every student was told to write one to two pages about their school experience since it was the first year this particular public school was ever open to the public. I can’t remember what inspired me but I remember I had a great idea and wrote about it. The students read their pieces aloud to the class the next day and we voted on which one we liked the best and the majority voted for mine! I had the honor of reading it after school one day at an assembly and my piece was entered into the school’s time capsule.

I wonder when it will be unburied. My parents probably know.
