Daily Prompt: The Guilt that Haunts Me

“Share a time when you were overcome with guilt. What were the circumstances? How did you overcome you guilt?” –The Daily Post

When I was running low on meal swipes, I asked my close friend to guest swipe me into the dining hall. She told the card-swiper lady in the dining hall that I was out of swipes so the worker felt bad and let me go in for free without swiping… but I wasn’t out of swipes! She did that out of the kindness of her own heart but I still had a good 15 swipes left! I felt soooo guilty.

I asked my friend to guest swipe me… not to get me in for free! I made up for it by personally thanking the lady on my way out of the dining hall.
