“Tell us about a time when you were left on your own, to fend for yourself in an overwhelming situation — on the job, at home, at school. What was the outcome?” –The Daily Post
I started working my first “real” job this semester. I was somewhat shocked when I found out we only had two training shifts and then we were expected to work independently. How could two training shifts possibly be enough time for me to learn all of the ins and outs of the building, where stuff is, and how things work.
I’m not sure if they did a great job teaching me or if I did the best I could because once I was on my own, I had no other choice. In any case, I’ve been doing just fine. While my job is labor intensive, I love it because it forces me a endure a light workout during time periods that I’d normally spend sitting around studying.
