Daily Prompt: Connect the Dots

“Scour the news for an entirely uninteresting story. Consider how it connects to your life. Write about that.” -The Daily Post

The first thing I read was that Obama is sorry that Americans lost health insurance with the new law rollout and I was already somewhat bored so I decided to roll with it. This connects to my life because I am an American.

  1. The story that a former Alaska governor, who was also a recent vice-presidential candidate, attended an event in North Carolina for the 95th birthday of an aging fundamental evangelist. How does it connect to my life? It doesn’t connect whatsoever. Neither the guest nor the birthday celebrant are relevant in my world.
