“If you could create a painless, inexpensive cure for a single ailment, what would you cure and why?” –The Daily Post
Hmm, I’m not sure. I know it doesn’t take much to write “cancer” but having just lost a loved one to cancer, it’s the first thing that comes to mind. I wish we had a better/cheaper way to fight it.

Better, definitely. Cheaper? Please do! Some day I think it’ll happen, but it will be a heuristic process – not a magic pill, but a “how can we fight this cancer?” kind of situation, and they’ll have the toolbox to deal with it, but I’m willing to bet every cancer will be a slightly different fight.

Hate. If we cured hate, I think many of the world’s ills, social or physical, would swiftly disappear. Once hate is removed, perhaps then we could all begin to work together without fear, mistrust or jealousy.
I actually considered going that route with my response! I agree with your argument 100%. A world without hate would be a MUCH more peaceful place.
