“Fiction writers: You’re stuck in an elevator with an intriguing stranger. Write this scene.
Non-fiction writers: You’re stuck in an elevator with a person from your past. Write this scene.” –The Daily Post
If I was stuck in an elevator with a person from my past, it would be my friend, Zack, from Key Club. We spent the past year on the Board together I cannot explain HOW MANY TIMES WE GOT STUCK IN MESSED UP ELEVATORS. They’d break down. They’d try closing on me – AND ONLY ME. They’d fall so fast you’d think you were about to die. They’d have scratch marks on the walls like someone was desperately trying to get out.
The bottom line: Zack and I have had bad luck with elevators.
