Daily Prompt: Second Time Around

“Tell us about a book you can read again and again without getting bored — what is it that speaks to you?” -The Daily Post

Ho Yi the Archer

I remember when I first read this book in the sixth grade. I read it twice and then a third time in the seventh grade. The best part? I wouldn’t mind reading it again and then again and again. I actually believe I can give this book partial credit for why I am obsessed with Asian culture. It is a compilation of ancient traditional Chinese tales that claim to explain why things are the way they are. Do I believe them? Not necessarily. Do I still enjoy them greatly? Absolutely. The whole thing is interesting, inspiring, and all-around fascinating to read about.
