Daily Prompt: Karma Chameleon

“Reincarnation: do you believe in it?” –The Daily Post

Absolutely. I believe that every living being contains some form of spiritual life energy and just as Newton’s law states, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed”. Assuming that this is true, when some being’s life is about to expire, I think the energy is instantaneously drained and reincarnated into something or someone that was born somewhere else at that same moment in time. Science has proven that there are neutral subatomic particles with a mass close to zero known as neutrinos which can float through objects and even jump between universes within less than a second. If something like that is possible, I don’t see why some sort of life energy couldn’t reach around our mere little planet within a fraction of a second too. Now, I’m not looking to prove anything. I come from a family of Catholics and technically I am Catholic myself so I feel like we probably aren’t supposed to believe in this stuff, but I am not very religious and the bottom line is that I do believe in this.

Everything goes in a circle. Life in and of itself is one giant cycle, really. Everything starts somewhere, progresses for a certain period of time, and then ends up back where it started. If this principal applies to pretty much everything in our world, I don’t see why it would be any different with life itself.
